Beginners Classes
Evening beginners classes for adults
Learn to paint 13.1.16 to 10.2.16 7 till 9pm
The course is taught from my home, I have a large kitchen extension, at Brecknock Road, BS4 2DD. It’s a five week course, 7 till 9pm. The cost is £110 to include materials. I teach the fundamental watercolour techniques and then each week we use a variety of techniques and apply them to a particular subject matter, such as still life, floral subjects, landscapes and animals. (Drawing skills are not needed) We do step by step exercises together such as how to paint clouds, then each week you produce a finished painting using the techniques we have practiced that week.
I limit the class to 6 so that everyone gets all the help and attention they need. It’s a lot of fun!  I supply all materials so you can try things and see what you like. Each week I send out an ebook of what we have covered so you have that there to refer to, I also run a facebook group for my students for help, support and to post your pictures and engage with others if you would like to. Learn to Draw 3.3.26 – 26.3.26

I teach the fundamentals of drawing from life and we use photos as well. I cover how to measure, see the shapes and get this down on paper. Shading and how to simplify an image, how to draw in perspective and a little about composition and what makes a good image. Each week we go through a concept, practice with step by step exercises together and then do a final drawing. Subject matter includes still life, floral, landscapes, buildings and animals, so something for everyone
